Veronika Gribanova is a writer, director, and performer based in Los Angeles. Her feature TWO CLOWNS is in development with Independent Entertainment with BAFTA-winning director Lynsey Miller attached to direct. Her short film THE COMICS, directed by Karen Knox, and starring Veronika alongside Ryan Belleville, was selected for Telefilm’s showcase at Cannes, Miami Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Victoria Film Festival, and Soho International Film Festival, and is available to stream on WeShort. Her short BFF HAS CANCER :( premiered at Canadian Film Fest and is available to stream on CBC Gem. Her feature is in development with Fella Films and Anamorphic Media. She recently assisted Emmy-nominated Alyson Feltes in the creation of a new drama series for Green Room and Story Girls. Her work has been developed at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, Stowe Story Labs, Samuel French OOB Festival, Atlantic Acting School, The New Group, Last Frontier Theatre Conference, The Tank, and FEM Script Lab. She directed the Canadian premiere of “Trojan Barbie” by Christine Evans and “Asuncion” by Jesse Eisenberg, and her own plays have been performed Off-Broadway, as well as in Canada and the UK. She studied writing at University of Toronto and King’s College London, and trained at Atlantic Theater Company’s Full Time Conservatory. She is the co-founder and facilitator of the Chateau Normandie Artist Residency in France.
